What is the most anyone paid for a single Juan Gonzalez card? What was the card?

I paid $250 for the 2000 Ultra Masterpiece back in 2000...my biggest steal was when I traded a Chipper Jones 96 finest gold refractor for the 93 finest Gonzo refractor...

$400 for the 1996 Finest Gold and Gold Refractor, when they first came out, being only 50 of the refractor were made, was what the owners told me. 2 packs left on the shelf at local store, had been sitting there, and owner decided to open them, this was in 1996. I called asking if he had any new Juan's, and he laughed. He told me, he had just pulled the Gold out of the 1st pack and the Refractor out of the other. Wished I had bought packs:( So I went then and he allowed me to put on a payment plan.:D He keep them out for display to show them off, he had offers for them, but told people they were sold.

I paid $950 for the 1996 Select Certified Mirror Gold #56 PSA 9. That was a lot of money then. Never told anyone until today.

Back then graded cards were just hitting the markets wasn't it? if so, I think everyone wanted to be graded and they were popular. I can't handle graded cards, in my opinion. Mind you tho, I like to have 1 graded RC of Juan's at a 10. But just haven't looked to hard.

$187 (eBay) for the Back to the Future Autograph, obviously around when it had just been released. $175 for the 93 Refractor

the only thing i can really rember is 85 for my 2005 diamaond kings 1 of 1 auto. i only paid 30-40 for my 93 finest ref. because it had a little bit of a ding on the corner, but i thought it was well worth it.

the most i have paid was 100.00 for my 2004 donruss recollection auto sd# to 10

$500 for a PSA 10 96 Mirror Gold. $400 each for my 3 TW Autos.

i paid $1000 for a pair of red crusade's at the 1998 national in Chicago.these are the treasures of my collection.don't ask i won't part with them.i spent a lot of money in those 3 days,think i got all the Juan Gonzalez cards that were there.had the 3 day V.I.P. Al Rosen was nice to get me in even earlier and show me around.it was great! i was even able to finnish my 52 topps set that day.

I also have the Gonzalez red crusade card. Mine is a graded card and I got lucky at the time. The card was advertised incorrectly and I only had to pay about $40.

i'd have to say the treasures of my collection are the TW autos and the bgs 9.5 gastonai rookies.

In 2003 I paid $451.75 for the Juan Gonzalez Original Diamond Kings Painting.

i remember that auction,what a fantastic item that was,you need to get a good photo of it and it should be on the oddball list.

$400 for the 96 Mirror Gold - in 2001 - It all evens out though as I only paid $40 for the 97 Pinn Cert Plat Gold and got serial # 01/30.
