Ted Williams Juan Gonzalez Auto RED??
|
Yeah, It just sold for $250 BIN!!! I guess I will never get a Ted Williams Auto because I would never pay more than $150 for one.
|
i bought it :) I wouldn't normally pay that much, but I have never seen a red one in my life.
|
i would have paid more:eek: but the moron would not return my email! i asked for a scan of the back 5 min after it was on ebay.even gave him my home phone #. some are just stupid! just as well now.the spure of the moment to get a card you do not have.you do not think of what you are doing.now i am glad he did not get in contact with me! come to think of it ,it was prob singed after they got out the back door at a baseball game.i just still think it is not a ligit card with the red ink.knowing we have unsigned ones on this site with just the "B" on the back. what do you think DAN?

I WOULD ALSO SAY IT IS NOT A PACK PULLED CARD!:o
|
well I have 3 of the 4 now, all 3 being different colors. The sig and numbers on the card look just like the others, if its a forgery its a darn good one. Plus why would someone forge Juan's sig? Most folks have no clue what these cards are worth.
And who would even have a "B" lettered card available to do so. If they were that smart (and lucky to have the card to forge), I would think they would forge it in black or blue. Anyway it's interesting to say the least. |
You are so rite! Congratulations on this catch, I'll resume my message simple, if you ever decide to sell this card, just contact me first! You won't regret it!

I don't think there is any question as to the authenticity of the signature, it looks genuine. Rob was intimating that someone may have had Juan sign the card after the fact.
|
I would of payed that and much more for it! Great card and addition to your collection.
Congrats, Jonas |

Awsome trio, congratulations. By the way, I'm ready to buy it from you!:cool::):):D:D:rolleyes::rolleyes:

How can you possibly keep such nice cards in such crappy holders??

Screw downs may look nice, but they aren't very safe. I've noticed many times the glossy cards stick to the holders, and in worst cases get crushed. |

I agree, I learned my lesson the hard way. I had pulled a Tiger Woods Shirt out of the 2001 Upper Deck and placed in a screwdown. I took it somewhere and placed it in the armrest, unbeknownest to me, my wife had place a SEALED bag of microwave popcorn. Needless to say I forgot card and she forgot bag. I opened the armrest one day, and was shocked!! My Woods card was YELLOW!!! And the popcorn plastic was too, the bag leaked. Needless to say I still have card, but it now is just a card that WAS a mighty pull....Guess I could pass it off as Tiger was eating popcorn before they took his shirt:cool::p
But I still have some screwdowns with Juan in it.:o |
Screwdown looks great, and the cards inside them looks greater!
Just have to be carefull! I've all my Juan's inside srewdowns. |
if it isnt to thick, all my cards in my collection are in 9 pocket pages. i like to look at them and a binder is still the easiest way to do o
