Let the debate BEGIN

this just sold on ebay!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270412635949
this was uploaded by Mike
http://juangone.com/pictures.php?cardid=1837
the last one sold is a blue ink as you can see the one Mike uploaded is BLACK INK! so really how rare is this card? now there are 2 ink colors as with the Vinny card. so i do not care what the odds were pulling the Clemens Auto were there are now 2 ink colors!!!!! this is the 5th one i have seen sold in the last 3 years!!!and this is just on ebay. i have seen 1 at a card show 2 months ago in Orlando "the guy wanted $500" i just walked away. so realy now HOW RARE IS IT?ARE THE BLACK INK BACK DOORS???? makes you wonder does it not!or vise versa

THIS IS SERIAL NUMBERED TO 100!
http://juangone.com/pictures.php?cardid=1099
i have never seen one!!!!!!!!!!!
so how rare is the Clemens auto? i would say there are over 100 in black and blue autos.i do not think they are that rare.now that he has fallen from grace, there will be more seen! "INVESTERS" will want to try to get some of their money back. but now the ink variations bug me. i started out with the black ink Vinny had 5 before i found a blue ink,now i have 2x more blue ink. and i feel sorry for the winner of the ist collectors choice card.then they will start comming out of the woodwork also just like this one

The picture that mike uploaded just looks like a bad scan of a blue ink to me.

it is a black ink the black ink pens they used were a fine point! the blue ink has a much broader stroke.this is true on the Vinny autos as well!also the black ink is not as sharp and have skips in the stroke! that is the same as all the black inks i have.the card mike uploaded is definitely a black ink.

Just giving my opinion. Looks like blue ink to me. I hear they make them blue ink pens in different stroke sizes. Anyone else heard about that innovation?

i will let you know when it arrives - i was glad to get the card for $150 and think it is well worth it. it has come up for sale way less often than the 1996 mirror gold (30 made) and about the same as the 97 cert mirror gold (actually #ed to 30).
are you sure that the CC #ed to 100 even exist? maybe every player didnt have that card. you would think with all of us looking that 1 would have surfaced by now.

i sold 2 of the cc a Maddux and a Rolan i have seen a Jeter sell on ebay for $68 and a Grieve sold on ebay i do not remember what it went for! that is it! it will pop up sometime!i pusted over 15 cases of the series 2 and only pulled 2 of them.the tripples were 1 per case i got 14 in the 15+ cases.

I agree with Freddie. It looks like a bad scan to me. If you put a gun to my head I would say it is blue ink.

Who really cares? It is a novelty, not a variation!! The Vinny card should only be on the list once in my opinion.

The 1999 Skybox Autos had two different inks, but one was serial numbered and one wasn't.

We don't separate out the ink colors on the Ted Williams Autos (and they have been seen in every color under the rainbow) so why should we for the Stadium Club Co-signers?

lets look up novelty in the dictionary shall we! something novel or new.
now variation, the extant to which a thing varies.when Chris gets the card we shall find out.by the way if that is true the skybox would just be a novelty also!as far as the Ted autos i do think they are a NOVELTY,VARIATION!when you get a new Pudge card that you did not have it would also be considered a NOVELTY!so do not add it to your list!

i think its the same card too. the other co-signer is listed twice. i put mine under the one that was normal and i didnt check to see what color ink it has. my 2001 fleer auth batting glove card is red but the pic on the site is grey. i just sold my extra grey one to fosgate as he needed it.
