1994 Donruss Elite Variation, Missprint or Fake???
 

Hi, I have 2 1994 Donruss Elite Inserts and they look different. Where the name is, one of them has like a band that goes across the card, and the other one is silver with no band. I attached a photo for you guys to take a look and tell me about them. Thank you in advance!!!!!!

That's cool. I do not think it would be fake. what is the serial number? That may shed some light on it.

It's 01257/10,000. The back is exactly the same as the one I already had except for the serial number. No print flaws or anything rare. I'll post picture from front and back.

POSSIBLY ... it was flawed and sent back and that card was returned

looking at 1994 Elites at random on Ebay, a few players have the band and most don't. Nothing in the books that I have indicate a reason for the band. Maybe different printers produced the product?

If you look closely at the pictures in this site of that card, there is two of them, one regular and the other is a graded psa 10, the first one does not have the line, and the graded does!
