We raise the prices, then once we have it, and the companies starts to put newer cards on the market, those we pay a fortune for appears and someone unknown buy it for a couple of dollars without our participation. it's absurd we make each other paid huge amounts of money, but let people that we don't know pay cheaper, not only we over pay, but then the stranger lower the prices of the same cards, becoming a double loss for us and the money we spent.

Shame on us!

You have that card so does Kevin and myself. When they came out it was hard to find. Only 10 printed so we all wanted that card not knowing when another would come up. You get a card that you need when it comes up. Do we make each other pay high? Sometimes more so than not.

This card I remember passing on it in 2005 for bin $35 thinking I could get it cheaper. I have not seen one since, where the hell are they? So you have to get them when you can.

I don't think this is anything new... This has been going on for years... I've missed out on so many cards saying to myself "I'll get the next one that comes along" only to never have it come along again...

Adelith has a valid point but the problem is that if you let a rarer card go as to not drive up the price you take a big chance you won't see another. Sometimes you do and sometimes you don't. No good answer here..

Nothing has changed since the 90's when many of us started collecting Gonzalez. Money talks and BS walks. The capitalist system is not designed for everyone to succeed.
