Freddie, Who are all of these people registering for the site and posting these bizarre messages???

Spammers?

How do we get rid of them??

Delete their posts and then ban them. You should be able to do both. Ban them by looking at their profile and then click "User Options".

I'll upgrade the forum which has better spam controls.

Mike, now when you see one of these posts, click the box in the upper right corner of the post and then select "Delete Posts as Spam" at the bottom right of the page, just above the "Tags" section. Then press the "Go" button next to that.

From the screen that pops up, you can choose to delete all of the other posts by the user as well as ban the user.

Whatever fix you did it now requires me to log on every time I visit the site...even if I click the "Remember Me" button. Is it a cookie or ip address issue??

i'd like to know what the point of their nonsense posts were. was it a bot posting? even so, what is the point??
