Dan has brought it to my attention that their has been some counterfeit #1764 Gastonia cards made that are a near perfect match. The only difference is the small "C" (copyright sign) on the back of the cards on the bottom. I have a few sets and have none with the larger one then normal as he has gotten but everyone might want to check any cards that they got recently.

I posted about this almost two years ago. I have one of these fakes.

The fake cards are on brighter card stock and the font is subtly different throughout the card.

The smaller is real. The larger is fake.
