What a joke!
 

i just sold a Derek Jeter 1998 donruss elite insert graded BGS 9.5 x 4 on ebay! it went for $10.50.item number 150278205570.also all the graded PSA cards did well,the BGS did not!!!!!! even those that were very high grade 9.5 x 4 and some 9.5's with 10 sub grades.that was very interesting! if this card was Juan,2725 and i would have had a good bidding war! prob $40+ what do you think Dan?

If you go to ebay and type in BGS you get 5,239 hits = hockey/baseball/football. If you do the same thing with PSA you get 25,590 hits. The bottom line is that PSA is 5 times more popular on ebay than PSA. It is very difficult to get a becket grade of 9.5 X 4 or better. That is all that I would collect. Many people do not collect beckett because it costs a lot to get the card graded and then it comes back with a real weak score.


Also, the economy is weak and for many people it is easier to give up purchase of baseball cards than food. This is not a good time to be a seller. It is a better time to be a buyer.

I have found that many people that collect a specific player will not collect graded cards. As an example, how many people besides you and I, that participate at this fan site, would bid on a Juan Gonzales graded PSA 10 card? I have 287 different PSA 10 cards. I have 6 BGS graded cards with 9.5 X4 or better. I have 9 SCG cards with a 98 score. How many are you up to?

222 7 and 16. there is a nice 94 finest refractor on right now.i do not know if you have seen it.my internet has been down all day. i only bid $10.50, i do have the other graded Psa 10.if you want it you can have it.i will not bid against you any higher. good luck with it Dan.
