Not sure that I agree with you. My recollection was that many of these cards were bought by Japaneese. There may be 25 of each player but domestically I do not think that there are really more than 12.
Let's do a head count. How many on this site have one of these cards? I have one. That leaves 24 more to find among us. If the cards were available to purchase, we should be able to account for at least 10 of these cards from the folks on this site.
