Default Totally shocked!!

I cannot believe that no one paid $1,000 for the 3 Ted Williams Autos!!! Wow that was really full of sarcasm...

Seriously Jacob...I cannot believe you got even a single offer. That person must not have realized who they were dealing with. Everyone here knows how much you think of your stuff. Why is it that some people want to buy stuff for cheap and then turn around and try to get top dollar for it??

If you put that up in an auction with no reserve you might get $400...maybe. If you are as desperate to raise cash as you say in your item description then you would do just that. This from the guy who just bought Juan's old Vette.

I think it would be interesting for Jacob to tell us where he bought the red card, who he bought the red card from, and what he paid for the red card.

I know Aircorp42K and I have all four Ted cards and we do not have a red one between us.

I believe the red card is fake and would caution anyone on this site to only make a nominal purchase of the card as an example of a suspected fake Juan cards.

Would it make sense for this site to start a section for suspected fake Juan Gonzalez cards so that we could all share and educate ourselves?

Uh, "come again"??

I bought the red one outside of eBay, but it was originally listed on eBay. I made the seller an offer he couldn't resist, and he closed the auction down. I normally don't deal outside of eBay, but I knew it was going to end up sold offline because of its rarity, and because you guys were watching!

Without disclosing the price I paid, I will say I paid $400 each for the black and blue cards. So you can see I had $800 invested before I ever bought the red card. And I paid more than $200 for it, so I was in over $1000.

If you think it's too high, than make an offer, but I'm not going to give them away. Oh and if anyone thinks the red is fake, LOL, that is a good one. Why would it be fake, because it was signed in red? It has the gold B on the back, the signature is definitely Juan's, and it is numbered. It should be added to the website as a variation, because there is no doubt it is real.

Don't hate me just because I have the only red one! :-p I'm just trying to raise cash for a game used glove I found- $500. I'm not trying to scalp anyone. Just easier to sell three cards than 300 for $3 each.

just because it has a "B" on the back it is a pack pulled card? I DO NOT THINK SO! read the above! as for the price, how many 93 refractor psa 10"s were bought at over $800 12-15 now they can be had for under $200.it is what the market will bare. put them on ebay at a start price of 50 bucks each and we will see what they are TRULY worth!as for the red ink i see you did not respond about it being sent to psa to have it authenticated.that brings more into question about the cards authenticity of it being a PACK PULLED CARD!

Jacob,

Besides having all four of the Ted cards, I have three with the B on the back that are not numbered. I have a hard time believing that I am so special that I am the only with with unnumbered Ted cards with a B on the back. It would not take a lot of work to take my unnumbered extra Ted cards and make them into a numbered Ted card. Red is fake and someone took one of the B cards and made it into an autograph. There are a LOT of Juan collectors that have been chasing cards for over ten years on this site. To have a red card majically appear after ten years is kind of strecthing things. Believe what you want to believe but I for one do not buy into the story of red.
