Default Who are we missing??

Can anyone think of any other prominent Juan collectors that are not participating in this website?? I can think of three...
  • mcabee1
  • aircorp42k
  • angel-415
How do you think we can get them to add in their collections??

Thumbs up angel-415

angel-415 is not a collector is a seller in Puerto Rico. He used to collect Mike Piaza, but not any more, most of the Juan Gonzalez rare inserts he bought on ebay end up in my collection, if you check on his bid history you'll find out that he also buys Ivan Rodriguez, Bernie Williams among other Puertorrican players.
He also knows of the existance of this web page.

Don't you end up buying most of his Juan cards he wins?? So when you bid against him aren't you just driving up the price on yourself?? Please tell me how that makes sense??

As I mentioned before, he is a seller in Puerto Rico, and I I'm not the only Juan collector in the Island, he has some other collectors on his list, one of the toughest is a guy named Pedro who also collects Juan, and don't know how to use a computer and buy most of his cards at local shops and from sellers like Nestor (angel-415). So, when Pedro request a card I have to outbid him. For Pedro is personal, he had never seen my collection, and I never seen his, but I'd heard that he have some of the first 1/1 Masterpiece, and that he paid thousands for it.
Remember I said most of his rare inserts, not all of them!

Finally outbid by jrph56, another boricua seller.

By the way Roberto, did you inherit a small fortune recently?? Because you are bidding on a ton of stuff and paying huge prices.

You witness the downside of a successful fan site. It encourages other to participate more, costing you more in the long run.

Am i misssing a cheaper way to get the cards I need? If you know of some way to do it, please let me know, since you are right this is costing me so much lately. Isn't Juan's cards suppossed to go cheaper since he is out of the league? Crazy huh!

Shakingit is a guy that lives about 20 miles from me. He comes to my house once in a while to visit as he worked with me when he was just out of school. He now owns a fuel tanker business. His collection is mostly new stuff and all just thrown in boxes. He buys on a whim just so I think we have something to talk about. His 15 yr old daughter got raped just before Thanksgiving and he has been in the dumps. I have spent more then the normal time with him trying to get his moral up. He knows I’m a little disinterested in collecting after seeing what Sam has and I not even being aware that he existed. His collection has reached what I had hoped a lifetime of collecting would accomplish. Rich knows I watch ebay for Ted auto cards and is trying to get me ignited again I’m sure. He would not bid on a card that I asked him not too so if you need one that he has bid on let me know. (I asked him to bid off on the Gold/Silver 97 Pinn Xpress metal cards that are on ebay, as I like to use them for office paperweights and plan on getting them). He won’t join here, as we are nothing but old men needing to get out more according to him.

Prices seem to be higher now but they are normally higher early in the year and drop later, after the season.

Losing Kyle as a Juan collector was a great loss as a representative of us Gonzalez collectors in the hobby!

To think that Sam has 67 different 1998 Topps Tek Diffractors and between Rob, Mike, Roberto, Kevin and myself we have a total of 23 different ones. I'm so depressed The chances of coming close to collecting that many is zip! There isn't a diffractor on Ebay for any player at this time and only a Derick Bell on all of Beckett. The opportunity to find one is much harder to come accross then the dollars to obtain it
