Speaking of prices...look at what these two auctions just went off for:

I know these are rare items but this is unbelievable.

there are a lot of his cards that are way undervalued, but what are you going to do about it. it would be nice if i could actually go to a show or something and find a bunch of his cards and be able to buy them at the list price. but it seems like no one really has anything anymore. no one seems to care about anything thats not popular now.

A full set of Magic Marker cards are surely worth that to me. Mine has been handled and has Juan's auto on it. These look in much better condition. It's not something you see come up too often. I was hoping to get them at 30 but would of went to 45. I would of bid on the Crayola but thought Roberto was after them and mine is in great condition.

But you wonder where these bidders come from at the last minute like that who seldom bids on this type of cards. Chris (McAbee1) was the only bidder tell about 30 seconds to go.

Mike,

I'm surprised that you went over $50 for the 99 Century Legends card when it is #/100. Thank the all mighty that we don't all desire the same thing at the same time or I'm sure my wife wouldn't be mine! I was surprised that Gonzalez fans even seen the Magic Marker cards as Juan's name was misspelled in the discription. I just stumbled upon them by accident. I haven't been lucky getting any cards for what I would like to get them for. I thought I had a chance with them but of course I had to go on the high side

Believe me Jonas, I really don't want to spend that much on that card, but I have wanted to add that card (as well as the '97 and '98 Donruss Century Autos) to my collection for a long time. I have mixed emotions about the high prices lately. I am glad to see the demand, but since I am not selling anytime soon I would like to get each card for as little as possible.

I really wanted that Crayola set...Maybe next time.
