Default Highest verified sale ever for a Juan card?

What is the highest verified sale ever for a Juan Gonzalez card? Also, what is his toughest to find (rarest) base card (including errors/variations, not including SPs, limited print-run or serial numbered cards)? Just curious.

The highest I believe was a Donruss Crusade Red at over $456.00 + $2.75 S&H for a total of $458.75 for a single card (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=380394173385). Most difficult card to find is the 1990 Donruss Aqueous Test, in my opinion.

Agreed! But i have turned down $600+ each for these in the last week. Set builders are are very passionate with deep pockets to match.

Excluding all serial numbered cards I would say the highest is the 1993 Finest Refractor.

I hate to say it but in the day, I spent a more than 600 for the 96 mirror gold card and it was not graded. On the other hand, I spent less than $50 for the Crusade Red so I guess it all works out?

Anyone else going to be honest and confess to spending more than $456 for a Gonzalez card?

This HAS to be the best non-1/1 Gonzalez card ever. What do you think it would go for, realistically? I see there is a scan of one on this site, but no one here has it? I bought a 6 box case of this stuff in hopes of getting ANY of these. I ended up with a scrub common. #1/5 at least. I can't imagine what a Griffey Jr., Ripken Jr. or Jeter would fetch. I wouldn't sell a Jeter for under $2,500, I'll tell you that much. I would think Gonzalez would get anywhere from $600 to $1,000.

I bet a First Pitch Preview of Juan Gonzalez listed in today's market might make a run at highest ever. And I remember the 1997 Flair 1/1 that hit ebay a year or so ago, but actual sale was outside of ebay.
