you can buy 13 of a card #ed to 25...... but if you let 3 of those go, you could have 10 instead of 13 and since Mike & me are no longer bidding on that card, the 10 cost you 1/3rd of the price.

I have duplicates of a lot of cards.... they are all for sale cheap. I have two of these because one is a grey jersey and one is a blue jersey. for the right trade, I would give one up.
Dont get me wrong, I bid on duplicates and win them sometimes. If the price is right. I am not gonna bid up a card that I already have just to inflate the price for my fellow collectors.

I guess to make my point better........ if you will let one or two go, you can pick up more down the road as the bidding will not go as high once your fellow collectors get the one they need. Either way, I am not upset. The chase is part of what makes it fun. The fact that others spend more than I do is their choice and what makes America great. You can if you want to. I could spend more, but choose to spend more of my collecting dollars on Greer & Blalock as I can get nicer cards at a better price. I have 168 Blalock 1/1's and counting. I win most and lose some, but most sell very cheap. I could never do that w/ Juan as each one sells for so much. Actually, I could until my wife saw the CC bill and then I would be dead.

Hey Roberto. I see that you do not practice what you preach. You won a card yesterday that a lot of us need and you already have...why did you buy it?

Talk about totally unnecessary. That is a relatively low priced card. Why buy it?
