There are more Juan's collectors in Puerto Rico for sure. Here is my opinion on why they are not on this site:
1- They collect Puertorican players, not only Juan Gonzalez.
2- They don't have internet, or don't know how to use it.
3- They don't know about this site.
Like I'd said in the past there are some guys in Puerto Rico doing serious bussines with cards due to the second reason and even some of them use this site as reference, that's the case of Nestor, better known as angel-415. Nestor is the supplier for the #2 Juan Gonzalez collector here in Puerto Rico. The other 3 strong Juan collectors that I know around, also collect other players and only one of them has Juan as his priority player. The other two are so "RICH" they decide not to compete with me just because we are friends
, but their collections are too impresive to describe
, one of them is an assesor to MLB and other related sources in everything related to Roberto Clemente.
Here in Borinken Roberto Clemente is the number one Baseball player of all times. But in popularity #2 is Roberto Alomar, #3 Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, #4 Juan "Igor" Gonzalez (used to be #2, but we all know the history
), #5 Carlos Delgado (now with more Home Runs than Juan
). In terms of MLB history and Hall of Fame #1 Roberto Clemente (HOFer), #2 Orlando "Peruchin" Cepeda (HOFer) #3 Hiram Bithorn.

Does anyone else think that it is strange that on the whole island we have approximately two people on this web site from Puerto Rico? Are there any other collectors or is there a limit of only two per island. Inquiring minds want to know. Roberto what do you guys have to say?
