Freddie,

I have the coin in my collection but not the set. Why would I of kept the set when that is the only way you get the coin. Much like the pinnacle home run club card in 1993. You had to purchase the set to get the card that you need. Just an opinion.

Maybe I understand better after reading slower. I wasn't aware that they made other sets then the master set. If they indeed made a 8 coin set and a 50 coin set I guess I can agree to the reasoning. I only have seen the 50 coin set.

I have the 8 coin set and had never seen the 50 coin set. It is a hard decision as should we list just the coin, or the sets that the coin came in. To get the coin, I assume someone had to have opened the set and distributed the coins that way.

I own the coin by itself. I never had to buy a set. I would just list the coin by itself. As an example...you don't list the Topps Home Team Advantage set just because they only came in set form do you?

The thing is, I am sort of an "everything" collector and not just cards and the few oddballs, such as this coin, that beckett chooses to list.

I think that when I split the list into cards and other, that I will list three options, just the coin and then the two sets.
