Gonzalez, Gone For Good?
 

I seem to remember reading that one of the members on here is actually a friend's of Juan's. So, I was wondering if anyone knows if Juan plans take up the Cardinals on their offer and come back, (probably for an extended spring-training) or has he decided to hang up the spikes for good? I know that Larussa told him they wanted him to come back when he finally got over his abdominal injury. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Even if you know nothing more than me, that would be appreciated as well.

He's been very active in the minor leagues in Puerto Rico sponsoring kids activities all over. I don't like to ask him about his problems so if he don't tell me I won't ask him either...:rolleyes:

I get the baseball weekly, watch espn, look anywhere online to see if Gonzo gonna come back. I look forward to him coming back. As we all know he has some unfinished business in baseball. I really think he could pull off a Will Clark in the 2nd half of the season for the Cards.
