Wall of Fame card

I wrote this seller and told him that I thought the card was altered as there was not a serial numbered set made. He said he didn't care what I thought as he sold it either way! I wrote adelith and told him my opinion of the card.

Any thoughts?

I would think he wrote 2/3 on the card.

Well here is a Pat Burell numbered 1/4

I wonder if he is listed as having a /4 card?

I found it on the list..

2005 National Pastime Buyback Game Used J.Gonz 01 EX Wall 3 N/A N/A

I'm not familiar with the pasttime product, do these cards have some sort of stamp on the back?

Here is a Nomar card from this product and I don't see anything on it to signify it other than the handwritten number.

As far as I can confirm, all of these buybacks simply had a serial number handwritten on the front. This makes them virtually worthless since you can not guarantee that they aren't forgeries.

"Crimping on many cards is unclear" says it all. I emailed the seller of the Nomar card and they confirmed that there is nothing distinctive on the card other than the serial number. I would be very wary to purchase any of these cards at a premium price.

I agree. It is a dangerous game to buy something like that. I wouldn't touch it.

By the way...adelith won that card hand numbered 2/3 for $26 with a best offer.
