Venting
I bought two Juan cards on Ebay recently.
I'm frustrated of why people act the way they do. I've never been a dealer on Ebay, but I would like to think I would not act like this. I purchased a 1997 New Pinnacle Emerald Green Artists Proof card for $48, raw. Card showed up, looked OK but had some chipping along the top on the front of the card. I did not remember that from the Ebay pics. I went back to the Ebay pics, blew them up some. It appears the seller colored the upper section of the top load to hide the chipping in his Ebay pic? Really????? That is just plain BS! I've bought other high dollar cards from him, but they were graded, it just passes me off. The other card is a 1999 Finest Gold Refractor, I love this set, I think the gold is so sexy. So the card arrives in a cards Saber II taped to a piece of cardboard. I've never seen that before, but the card was well protected. I pulled it out, got a brand new One Touch to put it in and it would not fit??? Seemed like the car was a millimeter or two too big. I thought maybe it was the One Touch, pulled another one out, it won't fit in that one either. I assume this card was just cut slightly too big. But I feel like the dealer knew that when he sold it? This one I paid $62 for, another high end seller. Thought? |

I could have given you a better price on the artists proof.
