I paid $250 for the 2000 Ultra Masterpiece back in 2000...my biggest steal was when I traded a Chipper Jones 96 finest gold refractor for the 93 finest Gonzo refractor...

$400 for the 1996 Finest Gold and Gold Refractor, when they first came out, being only 50 of the refractor were made, was what the owners told me. 2 packs left on the shelf at local store, had been sitting there, and owner decided to open them, this was in 1996. I called asking if he had any new Juan's, and he laughed. He told me, he had just pulled the Gold out of the 1st pack and the Refractor out of the other. Wished I had bought packs So I went then and he allowed me to put on a payment plan. He keep them out for display to show them off, he had offers for them, but told people they were sold.

I paid $950 for the 1996 Select Certified Mirror Gold #56 PSA 9. That was a lot of money then. Never told anyone until today.
