how is it the Cubs are 10 games out of ist place! could it be that Zambrano thinks he is Babe Ruth and swing's as such he hurts his back. or that Soriano is getting 15 mil to bat .222 or that they got Bradley as a free agent for 10 mil a year to hit .222 until the 2nd week of August,and says he feels the HATE? WELL A-DUH! or they got a closer that has 10 blown saves and has lost 5! let us look at it shall we. the Cards on paper by player suck!they have Albert thats it!!!!!!! the Cubs sat around at the trade dead line tied for ist and sat with their thumbs up their ass!the cards got a hitter a pitcher and more. HUMMM makes Tony look good! and Lou look well lost! like he always does when he puts Gregg in 3 days in a row and 2 of those are not even a save chance! i game he gave up 5 runs with 2 outs and they lose 11-10 the next game he gives up 4 runs with 0 outs and they loose!4-3! the very next day Sweet Lou puts him in again in the 9th to let him give up 5 runs again! and loose again 7-5 all to the Padres!!!!could it be that-well Lou just plain SUCKS!!!!!!!!! i would have FIRED him after that 3rd game! traded BIG FAT-Z,dump the whiner with the attitude.and put Soriano on wavers! i said as such after they lost the Bartman game in 2001! but nooooooooooo i am only a fan!they are not loveable looser's. just plain LOOSER'S! always will be!they need a manager that will put his foot up some ass! they could have signed Juan and he would have done better! and they need OZZIE!

It is not a surprise that they haven't won a World Series since 1908!!! They are a very pooly ran franchise.
